Last week's rain having had practically i no chance to dry up, only one of the City reserves (Kilbirnie l'ark) was availablo for play on Saturday, the others being so moist that the caretakers deemed it inadvisable to ali'ow them to be played on. Third Grade. The City match was to Jutfvo been played at Ncwtown Park, but was postponed for the reasons mentioned. Karori drew with Johnaonvillo after a very even game. Scorers for Karori were Rankin (1), Lissington (1), and for Johnsonvillo M'Farlane (1), Greer (1). The match was played at John6onville. Fourth Grade. Island Bay met Kilbirnie, at. Kilbirnie Park, and defeated them by eight goals to six. The first half was in favour of Kilbirnie, and half-time sounded with them leading by 2 goajs to nil. After half-time Island Bay woke up however, and after a good even game made eight goals to their opponents' four. The Island Bay scorers were: Nowton, 3; Grenside, 3; Ledger and Adams. For Kilbirnie the scorers wore: Drawbridge, 4; Adaniß, 1; Hyde, 1. ' Empire defeated Johnsonville by five goala to one. Scorors for Empire wereDaly, 2; l'carce. Hart, and Cainm. Fifth B Grade. Marist one; Boys' Institute B team, 0 Island Bay won by default from Boys" Institute 0 lean). 6th B Grade. Boys' .Institute A team, five; Thorudon, 0. Marist (N.)
