AVERY "BULLDOG" TRACTOR
One of the lessons of the show to farmers was provided by the exhibition of (lie Avery "Bulldog" Traotor. This machine should, sooner of later, completely jevolutioiiiso the methods of farming in New Zealand. It offers so many advantages, as compared with horses, that it seems almost certain to supersede tlie present animal traction. With a "Bulldog" a farmer can do all the Tvork of preparing the ground, and a great deal of the work involved in handling: the craps. In addition, one can move buildings, pull stumps, stretch , fencing, drill wells, p.ump, grade and level roads, nnd do general hauling of every kind. 'IVe use of the machine means increased efficiency, and a better return for any given quantity of labour performed by the farmer. jVvery Tractors may be obtained in sizes to suit the special requirements of different farmers, but it may be mentioned as significant in this connection that few tractor owners exchange their outfits for smaller ones, while many turn in small machines and buy larger ones. Further particulars of the "Bulldog" may be obtained at Wellington and Wnngamii from A. ilatrio.k and Co., Ltd., the sole N.Z. agents.—(Publishea by' Arrangement.) ■ ■
