A SMALLER ISSUE. Owing to the shortage of paper supj plies, the Government has decided to reduce for this j-wsion the issuo of Hansard very considerably. "Tho number of copies hitherto printed has been 8000," said the Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. Ct. W. yesterday. "For the coming session it will be reduced to 3500. This will entail a considerable reduction in tho number of copies issued to members of both' Houses. Members of the Lower House, Ministers included, will receive only 25 copies, and the number allotted to members of the Upper House will bo reduced to live. Tho lists bavo been carefully revised, and wo have eliminated from the lists all copies which aro not of direct service. The reduction is a substantial ono in consequence."
