. ARRANGEMENTS PRACTICALLY : COMPLETE. London, June 1. The arrangements for the Irish Convention are practically completed. The Convention is expected to comprise eighty to a hundred delegates.—Aus.-N.!4. Cable Assn. SINN FEIN PRISONERS MAX BE GRANTED AMNESTY, (Rec. June 3, 5.5 p.m.) • London, June 2. The "Daily Chronicle's" Parliamentary • correspondeut • states that there are for believing that tho Govern-, ment will grant an amnesty to the Sinn I'ein prisoners in order to create an atmosphere favourable to the Irish Convention. Tho 'members of the Convention will iuolude Lords Dunraven, MacDonnell, and Pirrie, Sir Horace Plunkett, Sir Hutchinson Toe, and tho Rifjht Hon. Georp;e Russell, also a few members of the House of Commons. Every county council in Ireland has demanded to be represented by its own delegate. The "Daily Chronicle" says the Irish Convention will consist of 101 members, including fifteen Government nominees.. —Aiis.-N.Z, Cable Assn. _ ; IRISH UNIONIST ALLIANCE WILL PARTICIPATE. (Itoe.
