|• . NEW CLUB AT.THE HUTT. . Mr. W. Walton presided over an enthusiastic meeting of about 25 players at the Hutt last week, when it was decided to form a Hutt Association Football Club to be affiliated to the AVellingtoii Football'■ Association. • Messrs. A. Williams and B. L. Salmon represented the W.F.A. at the meeting, and fully explained the details and objects of the Association codo of football. Officers were elected as follow:—' President, Mr. H. Baldwin; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. E. Riddiford, V. Riddiford, E. P. Bunny, W. Walton, W. Kerr, F; L. Simpson, T. 0. Brash, Oallandar, and Brash; ho.n. secretary, Mr. F. Eddie; hon. treasurer, Mr. G.. Lusty; management committee, Messrs. J. M'Curly, R. Lusty, A. Swain, P. Smith, A. Smith; selection committee, Messrs. F. Thorpe, P. Smith, and R. Fraser; delegate to W.F.A., Mr. W. Walton; hon. auditor, Mr. W. Kerr. ,
THORNDON CLUB. The annual' meeting of the Thorndon Club was held last week, Mr. B. L. Salmon being in the chair. About 30 players attended. The following- ofticeru were elected foi' the ensuing season;— President, Mr. B. L. Salmon; vicepresidents, Messrs. A. Williams. H. J. Buck, G. Roberts, H. L. Godber, L. White; and J-. Hendry; secretary, Mr. A. Thomson; treasurer, Mr. T. A. Daly; selection conimitteo, Messrs. F. Sterling, H. M'Donald, and H. Desmond; delegate to Wellington Football Association, Mr. H. J. Buck, learns are to be entered for Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Divisions during the comiug season. About. 18 new members wero elected. ; MARIST OLD BOYS. The annual meeting of the football branch of the Marist Bros. Old Boys' Association wae held in the Marist Bros.' School last evening. Rev.' Bro. Egbert presided over a good attendance of members, notwithstanding the large number who have answered the call of duty. '• He congratulated the members on the success of the past season, and hoped that this year* ■would be even more successful. It was decided to enter one team in the Senior Division, one in the Fourth, and two or more in' the Fifth., Mr. J. Hayden was elected club captain, for the ensuing season. , ■ ■ •
