THINNING-OUT SCHEME REJECTED. . London, February 14. A' conforenco of the _ South Wales miners' rejected a, combing-out scheme by 81,300 votes against 54,600. The conference was adjourned to consult the workmen, and in the meanwhile the authorities were asked to suspend operations of the Medical Boards and Recruiting Depots.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.'
