COAL SUPPLIES
STATEMENT BY HON. A. M. MYERS

The Hon. A. M. Myers, Minister in:' oharge of coal supplies, said to-day, that the production was not equal to< requirements,'and it had become necessary to restrict usage, for directing to urgent channels, supplying transports and produce steamers overseas, and to supplying railway and shipping needs. Domestio use was restricted to five tons at any one time and 20 tons in a period of 28 days. Dealing with the output waa being governed directly by the Minister himself.
