A fire occurred this ovening in tbs offices occupied by tlio Amalgamated Film Exohange of Australasia, in Gleeson's Buildings- Tho fire, was brought under control within twenty minutes, and practically no damage was done to the nuilditg, whi/ih is of ferro-concrete, but a million and u. quarter feet ot film, valued at £28,000 was destroyed. Tho 1 Film Exchange is insured for £4250 in the Royal Exchange Offico. Tho origin of tho fire is unknown.
