The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club completed their third match in the second series on Saturday at their range, Broad: way, Miramar, at ranges 300, 500, and 70{i yards. The best score for the day was made by H. R, Hunt, 96; the next best was by E. J. Gray, with 94. The best range scores wore by W. J". Spencer, 34 (500yd6.), W. A. Isaac 34 (700 yds.). Next Saturday will be devoted to a practice match. The club trophy shooting will re-open on Saturday, January 6, 1917. On New Year's Day the Suburbs Club promise competitors attending the Miramar Rifle Association meeting a good's day's shooting, l'inal arrangements are now well in hand for the meeting.
