ST. PAUL'S SCHOOL

The annual brenking-up ceremony of St. Paul's School took, place on Friday morning.. Tho children contributed au excellent programme of songs and recitations, upon which the vicar of the parish, the Ilev. A, M'. Johnson, congratulated Miss Attiu, the- headmistress. He considered that several of the items would have done credit to persons much older than the performers. After tho entertainment the vicar presented the prizes, .lvhich were as follow Standard IV— Spelling and arithmetic, Daphno Coulter; writing, Dolly Dyson. Standard 11lWriting, Grace Carruthers. Standard II —Arithmetic,_ Ina Eobinson and — Joyce (equal); spelling, Ina Eobinson and Hay Carruthers (equal). Standard I—Arithmetic, Eaynor Dutton; spelling, Kathleen M'Nab. writing, Eaynor Dutton.
