MILITARY CONCERT AND REVUE

The lied Cross "Our Day" Fund should reap considerable benefit 'from the military concert which is being hold in tho_ Town Hall this evening, fhe entertainment is being given under the patranago and in tho presenco of His Excellency tile Earl of Liverpool. By permission of Colouel Potter, the first portion of tho programme is being contributed by the n.c.o.'s of the Twenty-fourth Reinforcements. Theso men recently gave 'a concert at Treiv tham, and it was voted by all those who had the pleasure of attending as one of tlia Jjcst all-round concerts ever given in the camp. A unique turn is being given by Captain Potter, of Auckland (champion fire club swinger), who, in addition to giving a very fine exhibition, concludes his item by turning a double back somersault -while swinging the clubs. The second half of_ the programme is being contributed by the Wellington Savage Club, who are repeating their popular "Trench Revue." Some thirty performers taKe part in this revue, I which abounds in tine choruses, clever humour, and solos. The box plan is on view at the Bristol, where tickets I to all parts may he purchased.
