A SUBURBAN INVASION TO-DAY
Boys and effigies will be much in evidence in the city this morning. An invasion is expected l'rom the suburbs of Kilbjrnie, Hataitai, Boseneath, and Maranui, headed hy an armoured Dreadnought manned by Boy Scouts. Their Army Service Corps will consist of boys with permits to gather copper and silver, ammunition From all friends and suspected friends. The city will be attacked from all points, and songs of victory will be heard at interval!-, In the afternoon the sceno of battle will bo at Kilbirnie Park. Kaiser Bill and his confederates will be fed to the : flames in tho evening.
