VOGELTOWN & MORNINGTON ELECTORS' ASSOCIATION
The Vogcltown and Mornington Municipal Electors' Association held its monthly meeting on Wednesday evening, Mr. Hewitt presiding. The secretary was instructed to write to the City Counci lin regard to the position of lamp 180, and suggest its removal to the top of the road, which would make a hig improvement in the lighting of the vicinity. Also re tho state of Mill's Road, owing to sewerage water overflowing, and further a request that tho men employed in the district be put on more reproductive work. _ ■ A discussion took place on tho question of drainage 111 the district, which was absolutely essential, and it was thought that beforo tho council committed itself to a scheme for Day's Bay, as suggested', tho claims of Vogcltown and Mornington, which are important, should be considered.
