EXPORTS OF TALLOW

The. Rata Dairy Co., in common with other dairy concerns, is experiencing a .very good season,' and a few days ago paid out the sum of £3925 12s. 9d. for September butter-fat. Tho_ amount paid out for the corresponding month last year was £2542 15s. 1d.., the price per'pound being Is. '<ljd;'and Is. Id. respectively. Tho price advanced to suppliers for October is Is." 4d. The amount of butter- manufactured in September was 67,4741b., as against 56,0951b. for September of last year.
