; THE EXTRIES REVIEWED. Entries, for the. Wairarapa show this - year total 1573, an increaso of 115 as ••compared with 1915. In horses tho hacks 1 are • very good; draughts"bettor than ; usual and other horse classes not quite so - . good. In cattl'o, Shorthorns are about the samo as usual. In Holsteins, Ayrshire,.; and Jerseys the competition is very strong. Milking classes are also • very strong. There are no Polled An;gus this year, bat there is competition Oin Herefords which have not been ' sHown;at ,this show for some years. In sheop, Lincolns and \Romneys are par''ticularly strong. Sonthdowns, as. usual, > i and farmers' fats very much .above the

•Average.- A very fine exhibition of pigs will includo entries from Hastings and 'Forifua Mental Hospital. Dogs should
