LIFE-SAVING SOCIETY
About 150 boys gathered at the Boys' Institute to witness tho presentation of forty-one certificates of tho lloyai Life-Saving Society to fellowmembers. Mr. U. S. Hill, chairman of the Wellingtoii Centre of tho society, congratulated tho boys on their work, and exhorted all those who had not so fai™joined a class of instruction to do so at once. Mr. F. Ross, director of the institute, said that, the society had every reason to bo proud of. those instructors who had recently in-: troduced the wopk of life-saving among the boys. Tlioy might rest assured .that life-saving lmd now come to stay, and that every boy with the physical health to enter tho water would be taught to,sw»:n hiul save life.
