AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY
The fortnightly meeting of the above society was held on AVednesday night, when the monthly competition was held. Thero was a smaller entry than usual, but the work was of a high o-ddr. In the senior section Mr. Robinson's landscapo came first, and in tho junior Mr. Smale scored firsti and tied with Mr. Norton for second place. At the business meeting following, it was decided to arrango an exhibition of photographic work to be neld in the rooms on a date to be fixed, and if possible hold an ait union on behalf of 0110 of tho patriotic funds. Moifcrs. Edmanson, Johnson, Robinson, and Turnbull were appointed a committee to carry tho exhibition through. It was also decided to hold an outing on Labour Day to Khandallali.
