Dalgety and Co., .Ltd., Ifalmerston North, report having held their fortnightly sale at Taihape oh Wednesday, where, owing'.to the wet weather, only a small portion of the entry, tamo forward. Messrs. Wright, .SU;phcnson, and Co.. Ltd., report on their sale held in the Waipoua yards on Wednesday as follows:— Wo had a largo yarding of sheop and a medium yarding of cattle. The wethers oifered were particularly good. Awapiripiri four-tooth,s realised 375. 7d„ and W. T. Douglas's 365. 6d. Sales were made as follow:—Sheep: 202 four-tooth, wethers, 375. 7d.; 262 four-tooth wethers. 365. 6d.; twotooth wethers, 355. 10 fat ewes, Ws.j 30 fat ewes, 3*s. 6d.; 26 forward ewes, 30s. 1<1.: 10. forward ewes,-283. 7(1.; 100 eives and lambs and ISO wether wether hoggets- did not reaoli tlio reserve placed on tliem. At the Feiiding annual cattle fair yesterday over 4000; head were yarded, mostly stores.
