ANOTHER DEATH REPORTED, The Defence Department reported! yesterday that Private Charles Leonard} Doubleday, C Companyj Eighteenth Reinforcements, had died in Featherston Camp early on Monday, afternoon.. The deoeased had been suffering from cerelxro-spinal meningitis for Bomel weeks, and though his condition showed improvement last week, more serious symptoms supervened. An additional case of cerebro-spinal meningitis has been received in Fcatheretoii Camp Hospital from the Papa* ivai Camp. General _ Henderson, ■Director of Medical Services, stated yesterday that the patient was a -member of tie Nineteenth Reinforcements. The disease was in the early stages, and the symptoms were not at present severe. The other eases of cerebrospinal meningitis, both at Featherston and at Trentham, were progresing favourably. The general health of ther troops was excellent. One measles patient had developed pneumonia, and was in a serious, though not a danger--ous condition.

General Henderson mentioned, that the inhaling rooms, constructed recently for the treatment of sore throats , and kindred troubles in the camps, wer<s in full working order.
