INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of tho Wellington Industrial Association was hold last ovoning. Mr. F. .1. Evans, prosidoufc of tho association, presided, and somo fifteen members woro present. Tho president moved the adoption of tho roport, wliicli has been summarised already in Tar. Dominion. He mado hriof reference to tho work of the association during tho year. Mr. T. Ballingor seconded the motion, and mentioned the desirability of scouring additional members in order to improve tho financial position of tho association. Tho accumulated funds of the association, to tho amount of £1100, had boon invested in War Loan. Certificates. The motion was carried after brief discussion. Tho following officers wore elected :— President, Mr. F. J. Evans: viceprosidont, Messrs. Watkins and Mainland; treasurer, Mr. R. J. Hardio Shaw; auditors, Messrs. A. T. Clarke and A. S. Biss; committee;, Messrs. T. R. Burt, T. Balliuger. F. C. Crease, J. P. Luke, J. A. Plimmer, S. C. Barron, E. Bull, M. Manthel, WM'Lay, G. Pallisor, J. Stewart, H. R<jad, C. J. Ward, F. Rouse, C. G. Sherwood, G. W. Slade. W: L. Palmer, L. Partridge, W. J. Thompson, R. G. Denton, C. B. Norwood, W. Cable, and R. Hall. lb was decided that a mooting of the executive should ho hold on tho third Monday of each mouth. Other matters wero discussed before the meeting closed.
