o THE MIRAMAR CLUB. The qualifying rounds for the club championship have now been completed, and tho following eight returned the lowest .gross scores: —R. L. D. Kidston, 159; H. R. Balncavis, 165; R. P. AVard, 165; L. C. Hales, 168; L. t>. Hurst, 168; B.'L. Taylor. 168; W. T.Wynyard, 172; F. P. Wilson, 173The first and second rounds will bo played next week-end. The draw for the first round is as follows:—Kidston plays F. P. Wilson; Balneavis plays Wynyard; Hurst plays Hales; R. P. Ward plays Taylor. WAIRARAPA CHAMPIONSHIP. The Wairarapa golf championship has boon won this year by Mr. W. C. Perry, who defeated Mr. A. B. Lawrence, after a most interesting game.
