SEVENTEENTH INFANTRY
BEGINNING THEIR MARCH. The Seventeenth Infantry Reinforcements, numbering about 1600 men, marched out of Trentham Camp yesterday shortly after one o'clock on their way to Featherston Camp. The weather was fine and sunny, and the troops began their long tramp in excellent spirits. Last night they were, to engage in field operations at Mangaroa/, concluding with an attack at dawn. They will march to Kaitoke to-day and bivouac there to-night. LieutenantColonel C. It.
