FEARS FOR THE OCCUPANT'S SAFETY. ! By Telegraph—Press Assooiniion. Auckland, Septombor 14. Grave fears aro entertained for tho safoty of a young married man' named S. H. Smith, who loft for Tuki Tuki in a motor launch on Tuesday la6t, and has not been heard of sincc. Tuki Tuki is situated near Cabbage Bay, just inside the gulf, and under-the favourablo conditions which' obtained' whon tho launch left Whangapoua at 1 p.m. on Tuesday ; it should have' reaoned its destination eix hours later. Smith had no dinghy attached to the motor boat, and it. is' thought that tho engine has broken down and that the vessel has drifted to sea.
