Brady, Oroua Downs. There was a. good attendance of buyers, and tho cows, which-were a good lot, sold well, fifty-three head averaging 312. The best cows made: £15, £15 55.. £16, £16 155., £17 os., £17 10s., £18, £18 55.; springing heifers, £6 55., £7 175., £8; best heifers, £9 10s., fid, £11; yearling heifers, £3 155.; calves, Js. 6d.; mixed hoggets, 245. 6d.; breeding' sows, £4 to £5; hacks, £2, £2 10s„ £7; h.d. 3-year gelding, £15; spring carters, £18; harness horse, £10 10s. Sundries realised good auction rates. At PalmerstQn North on Thursday we had a fair yarding of stock, which sold at late-rates:—Mixed b.f. hoggets, 195.; yearling heifers, £2 Ids.,- £3; empty' cows, £5 Is., £5 145.; forward cows, £7 7s. 6d.; cows and calveß. £7 7s. 6d.; dairy cows (on account of Messrs. Schwamm), £6 to £11; others, £6 to £9.
