DISPOSAL OF DAIRY PRODUCE
Somo weeks ago tho Edendale Dairy Factory disposed of its output of cheese for the incoming season to a local firm at B}d. per lb. on trucks. If, however, the company had lield off tha market and sold its output at the pries being oft'orod to-day, it is said that it would have obtained an additional sum of £7000. Last season some 800 tons of cheese were secured fronv the southern company for export. At a meeting of the directors of the Taieri and Peninsula Dairy Company, held on Tuesday, it was decided to sell outright half of its season's output of cheese ajid to consign the other half.— "Otago Daily Times."
