• ANNUAL REPORT. The twenty-fourth annual report of the directors of the Elthani Co-opera-tivo Dairy Company states that during , tho year the company received, and manufactured the following :—For butter-making: Milk, 2,508,5661b.; butter-fat, 94,219.681b.; averago test, 3.75 per cent. Cream, 76,5511b.; butterfat, 30,247.461b.; average test, 39.51 per cent. Butter, 136,7811b.—61 tons 1 cwt. 1 qr. lib. For cheese-making: Milk, 41,557,6341b.; butter-fat, 1,580,7851b.; average test, 3.80 per cent. Cheese, 4,221,8361b.—1984 tons 14 cwt. ' 3 are. 241b. Cheese to lib. of butterfat" (London weight), 2.611b. Milk to lib. of cheese, 9.801b. _ During the season tho average ■ price ■ paid for buttcr-fatifor cheese-making ivas 15d., and the ayerago price paid for butterfat for butter-making was, for July and August, 12d., and for balance of season 14d. • The balance on hand makes it possible for tho directors to make a further payment of 4.42 d.
