Colonel Cosgrove has 1 sent a circular letter to the various branches of tho Farmers' Union in North Canterbury inquiring whethor, in view of the probable shortage of labour for tlie coming harvest, it would help if tho Scout authorities wero to send a few good Boy Soouts to fnrmors to assist them at that time. Colonel Cosgrove says that his association would expect tho farmers to look after tho boys, as they T\ould their positions. •■■
