PEACE PROPOSALS
A QUESTION OF RECESS NEGOTIATIONS. Australian-New Zealand Gable Association. London, August 22. In the House of Commons, Mr. A. A. W. H. Ponsonby asked whether, in the event of peace negotiations during the recess, Parliament would bo immediately summoned for deliberation upon them.
Mr. AsquitTi said ho could not give such an undertaking.
