OUR TOLL ON THE ZEPPELINS
35 ACCOUNTED FOR. (Renter's Telegram.) (Roc. August 23, 10.25 p.m.) London, August 23. In the House of Commons Mr. J. L. Baird, representing the Air Board, mentioned that seven Zeppelins had been, "officially," destroyed, while five others are believed to have been disabled irremediably. Tho Allies altogether had accounted for 35. Australian-New Zealand Oablo Association. ' (Rec. August 24, 0.40 a.m.) London, August 23. Mr. Baird added that since the beginning of the war there had been thirtyfour air raids on England. In ten there iveTe. no casualties. The total number of tho killed was 33?' civilians and 50 of tho military.
