She galloped with Czaronus one morning this week, and'was as good as Mr. H. Russell's gelding at the finish.
At the annual meeting of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club, held yesterday, all the old committee were re-eieet,ed, and also Messrs. E. J. White, G. Ebbett, and T. E. Crosse to fill the plates of those who would not stand agaLn. ~
T. Quinlivan arrives here on Monday to make arrangements for the shipment of his team for Sydney. It is understood that Sasanoit and Eligible have already been supported for the big events at C'aiilfieid and Fleinington. If this is so, Sasauoff will have to forego his C.J.C. Derby engagements, which looked at his mercy. He is not in tho A.3.C. Derby, which is not open to geldings. Ai Hastings this week he galloped a ver.y smart mile with Eligible, and was as good as! the four-year-old at the finish.
