BRITISH COAL OUTPUT
VERY GREAT SHORTAGE ("The Times.") ' ' London, July 21. The A'dmiralty has informed the South ■Wales miners that the coal output of the United Kingdom has fallen by thirty-five million tons since the war, Whereas the national and Allied demands necessitated twenty million tons more 'than before the war. SHORTAGE FROM AUSTRALIA.. 'Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. Sydney., July 22. The coal exports from Newcastle for tho half-year 'total 1,580,617 tons, a decrease of 299,010 tons compared with the previous-six months.
