' The Women's " Social and Political Union organised a great procession to show the determination of the women of Britain and thii .Dominions to see tlia war through. The women assembled on the embarkiuent. and marched to ITyun Park with bands 'and banners, a section 1 consisting of the friends and relatives of prisoners in Germany. _ They car. ried a banner inscribed "Britain for the British." .The patriotic tableaux included groups representing France, Russia, Italy, Belgium, Serbia, Australia, Canada, 3N*ew Zealand, and South Africa. There were also sections representing women's war 'work and munition-making.
