NEGRO MANIAC DEFIES POLICE
BESIEGED AND BLOWN XJJ? IN HIS HOUSE. , . ("The Times.") (Bee. July 10, 8.10 p.m.) Chicago, July 19. Robert M'lnty rc, a negro religious maniac, shot and killed six people, and then barricaded'himself and lias wife in his house, where ho perished when tho police blew it up. One hundred shots were fired during the siege. Two policemen and a civilian were killed, and four woro injured.
