HEADMASTERS' ASSOCIATION

The annual meeting of the. "Wellington Headmasters' Association was held in the Education Board room on Saturday morning. The annual report and balancesheet were considered satisfactory and were adopted. Mr. William Foster (Petone District High School) was reelected chairman, -and Mr. Charles Bary (Alt. Cook Boys' School) was re-elected lion, secretary and treasurer. A. proposal from Mr. Perry, of the Nowtown Municipal Library, to arrange for lectures on suitable subjects to be piven in the bi» room in the Newtown Library to children of the upper standards was considered, and it was decided that the 6chools would co-operate in the scheme, and Mr. Perry was warmly thanked for tho interest he hud shown. The lectures will be on natural history topics, to which the collection in tho museum will form an admirable adjunct.
