BROOKLYN HARRIERS

■ On Saturday the Brooklyn Harriers and their supporters to the number of "3 journeyed to Bello Vue Gardens per motor lorry, where the weekly rim -was held. The pack, under the captain, F, Harlen, followed a trail laid by H. Mio, deputy captain, and W. Harbison, across tho paddocks towards tho sea, then circled round the golf links, and 'crossing tho Waiwetu stream, on across country till the ro-id was struck—a good trail with plenty of obstacles, and good country. A run-iu was held over tho last 500 yards, and resulted in a win for Itoy Waters, with T. Collins second and Couper third. The Harriers then enter-, tained their supporters at afternoon tea, at which they were addressed by Mr. Bristow, vice-president. Next Saturday a combined run will 1:6 held with the Trinity Harriers, at the Seatoun tram terminus at 3 o'clock.
