ACCIDENT TO MOTOR-CYCLI7i\ ' (Carterton Correspondent.) While proceeding through Carterton on Saturday, en route to Napier, on a motorcycle, Sir. Lamb," of ITeatherston, collided with a car which was turning into Pembroke Street. The motor-cycle and side-car was rather badly damaged, and the ( rider cut about somewhat badly. The car's front springs were badly twisted. ' A DffiEDGE FATALITY. By Telegraph-Press Assooiat'on-Canyright Timaru, July 16. At the inquest on Harry Petersen, who was fatally crushed on a small harbour dredge on Wednesday, it was stated that deceased had been employed on the dredge for,five years. The Coroner concluded that.the accident was due to a lapse of .'memory, as men well acustomed to machinery were apt to get off their guard. No blaino was attachable to anyone 'else.
