KARORI BOROUGH COUNCIL
I A meeting of the Karori Borough Council was held last evening,. Mr. E. G. Burn (the Mayor) presiding. The borough engineer reported that not so much metal had been dealt with on account of the wet weather, and that the weather had also prevented anything else besides ordinary maintenance being done. He also leported that the Education Board's and Mr. Gooder's concrete work had been done, and iho work belonging to Mr..Naise was to bo done, also the decking of the No. 3 bridge on South Karori Road. The Mayor was appointed delegate to ■ the Hospital and. Charitable Aid Board at the deputation to ihe Government in connection with Government hospital subsidies, .
