CAMP NEWS

At Trentham tho following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant: — ' H Company, loth Eeinforcements — Lce.-Corpla. .1, Orslxirn and A. Wilson, to be corporals; Ptes. W. J. Dobson, A. Scott, and D. Stumbles, to bo lance-cor-porals. J Compauy, 15th Eeinforcements.— Sergt. I'. C. Donnelly, to bo sergeantmajor. -

The following temporary appointments have been approved by tne Camp Commandant at Featherston:—Pte, D. B. Pin. Nell, Headquarters, Permanent Camp Staff (orderly to Y..MC.A.), to bo corporal; Lco.-Corpl. J. Balneaves, Infantry, 'Signal Section, 15th Specialist Company, to bo oorporal; Pte. J. S. Hugill, ArmyPay Corps, to ho pay-sergeant. Mrs. W. P. Massey and tho ladies of the Soldiers' Club Committee, extend a warm invitation to soldiers of the Fifteenth Eeinforcements to attend the sol. diers' dance, which has been arranged to take place in the ballroom of the club, in -Sydney Street, on Saturday evening. Tho, committee has previously arranged tlicso dances (which have become exceedingly popular) for Thursdays, but it has been found that Saturday is a moro convenient day for the men; hence the de. cision of the committee. All soldiers of tho Fifteenth Eeinforcements, therefore, who have leave on Saturday evening are invited to oome along.
