Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held their fortnightly, ealo at tho Upper Hutt on. Thursday, when, they offered a medium yarding of sheep and cattle, most of which were disposed l of at satisfactory prices. . The fat" pens were also all- full, but competition for the latter class of stock was not animated, principally owing to vendors' reserves being in excess of buyers' values. Prices realised were quite on a par with those obtained at recent sales held at these yards, and wore as .follow:—CatUo: Fat cows, £5 10s„ £9 17s. 6d. to £12; empty cows, £4 10s., £5 10s. to £7; m.s. weaners, 325. to £2 ss.
