PRODUCERS ON THE SUBJECT. The following, remits are on the order paper prepared for tho Dominion Conference of the Farmers' Unioni which will sit-in Wellington on' July 25:— Marlborough.—"That this conference protests against land owners being singled out to pay the greater part of tho war taxation, the present war taxation being tantamount to a ola6s tax, and this conference considers any taxation for war purposes should be an equitaljle oiie, and should bear-equally on all classes of tho community." - .. .'
