Abraham and Williams, .Ltd., reports—ln . conjunction, with other stock auctioneers-we offered at the Palmerston Showgrounds on - Thursday a. number of pedigree cattle, and. though the sale itself dragged ' somewhat we were, able to sell the following animals:—Milking Shorthorns On account of Mr. M. Kearins, Kairanca, two 18-month bulls, at 21gns. each, to Mr. E. Stevens. Dannevirke. On account of Mr. J. 0. Wright, of 'Matapu, one 18-month bull, to Mr. G. Coombo, Oaonui, at 75gne., and one rising' 2 years to Mr. J. C. Page, Takaka; Nelson, at 50gns. Hoistein Friesians: Our only entry was a 25year, bull, on account cf -Mr. H. J. Middleton, of Wainiuhaka, Southland, which we sold to Mr. E. G. Banks, of Matamata, at 20gns. Jerseys: On account of Mr. A. Buchanan, of "Jersey Holm." we sold a Jersey cow, "Felicity,", to Mr. W. H. Booth, of Carterton, at 34gns.
