• BERTHAGE FOE EIGHT LINERS. By Telegraph—i'vess iU-s.ic.'sitiori. Wanganui, Juno U. Wanganiii Harbour Board to-night decided upon a vigorous policy to complete a deep-water harbour scheme which w'll enable tho berthage of eight home liners inside tlio river mouth. Recently, Mr. W. Ferguson, lato engineer of the Wellington Harbour Board, inspected tho contemplated harbour works, with the result that he has approved of the schemo, and the plans prepared by Mr. C H. Howarth, the local board's engineer.
