LADIES' GAMES AT KARORI. Excepting a practice game there was no men's hockey played at Karori. Park on Saturday. The ladies, however, undauntt? Miss Holder scored tho only goal for, Public Trust, while Misses Lang, -Williams, and Simons added points for Ramblers. Ramblers thus won by 3to 1. Mr. H. Sherwood was referee. JUNIOR GAMES. What was regarded as one.of the finest games of junior hockey yet played on Karori Park resulted from tlie meeting of Technical Collego , and Wellington Girls' 'College. ' Most of the attacking camo from tho side of the Girl's College. For the last twenty minutes of tho gamo Technical Collego. were kept Hard on tile defensive. Tho attacking was most vigorous, and .it speaks well for tho defenders that tho ball-not once entered the net. The game ended without score. At Petone, St. Augustine's were defeated by Te Aro by 1 goal to nil. Miss M'lvinnon scored tho point. Mr. F. Per. i-in was referee.
