JWNDATION-STONES'LAID. By Telegraph—Press Association. , Dunedin, June I.— ceremony of layiug two foundationslunes of the new medical buildings took place this afternoon Mr. W. Dawson, to 'whose generosity the practical initiation of tha scheme for the erection was due, and the Hon. J. Hanan, Minister of Education, performing the ceremonies. Mr. Hanan congratulated Dunedin on tho position.it occupied as regards educational matters, and paid a high tribute to the medical profession and. nurses for their labours to mako good, as far aa possible, the wastage of war, to alleviate suffering and to reduce the percentage of Infantile mortality.
