At tile Empire Day celobrations to-nighi au anouncement was made that tht Union Company was presenting an aero- ' plane to the. Dominion Government. The offer of tho presentation of .an aeroplane to tho Imperial .Government by the Union Steam Ship Company has been notified to the Prime Minister. Mr. Massey has accepted the offer on behalf of the Imperial authorities. It is understood that the value of tho machine will bo about. ,£2500.
