Fletcher, three other members of the committee, were summoned at the Mansion House for publishing a pamphlqt containing statements prejudicial to recruiting and to the discipline of the forces. It was stated that 750,000 copies had been printed. \ Fletcher and Richards were formerly secretaries to the Australian Freedom League, opposing compulsory training. Defendants were fined >£100, and .ElO costs.
