Speaking 'in the House of Lords, Lord Charles Beresford asked why there had been differentiation in the rewards between military and naval ntTmen at Gallipoli. They were equally gallant, but the military men were less well treated than the naval airmen. The Duke of Devonshire denied this, but promised subsequent rectification of any apparent inequaity.
