WORSER BAY METHODISM

On Sunday last anniversary services in connection with the "Worser Bay Methodist Church were held, the Rev. J.. Richards preaching'to a largo congregation. • The annual- social, which took place on Monday evening, was in the nature of a welcome to tho recently-appointed superintendent minister of Wellington South, tho Rev. E. Drake. A, large number of residents were present, and an enjoyable programme of vocal aud : elocutionary items was given by friends from other churches in the circuit. The, trustees' report and balance-sheet were of a satisfactory nature. ,On behalf of the members, Messrs. J.. W. Hall (society steward), anil.AY. \V. Mosham (S.S. superintendent) welcomed the R-ev. and Mrs. Drako to the circuit, a suitable reply being made by Mr. Drake. The local Ladies' Guild provided refreshments and contributed largely .to the success of:the anniversary functions.
