MOULDERS DISPUTE
i * By Telegraph—Press Association ' Dunedin, May 11. The moulders' .dispute was .before the Conciliation Council to-day. It was agreed to give Is. 6d. per hour to moulders, Is. 3d. to machine moulders, adult learners 3s. a day less than tho award rates for journeymen for the .first year, with. &tl increase of Is. per day every year until the minimum journeyman's .'wage, is reached. The piecework clause was left in abeyance, pending a decision in Christchurch. The accommodation clause was struck out, also the. clause referring to •foremen and lighting, the .award ■ to terminate on July 19, 1917. : . The plasterers' dispute was heard, but almost all debatable matters were referred to the Arbitration Court.'
