TRINITY HARRIERS

The first. official run of the Trinity Harriers was held from Thorndon Baths on Saturday afternoon, under fair weather conditions, whicli helped to mako tho run very pleasant. Vice-Captain T. Farriugton, wko was pace-maker, selected the course, which left the baths for tho hills at the hack of tho kerosene stores, through Wadestown, across the gully to Ngaio, and' back through Kaiwarra to the beginning of tho Esplanade, where the pack of sixteen runners, chiefly youths of 16 to 18 years, lined up for the usual handicap run-in of about 450 yards, the result being: W. Ccatchard, 1; B. Brien, 2; E. A. fchaw (scr.), 3. Next Saturday's run will be from the Cliff House, Island Bay. Tho trail-lay-ers will he W. Bennett and 0. Coad.
